The enquiry form asks for your name, phone number, postcode, the kind of work you need and any details you add. Email is optional. Nothing else is collected by the form, and there are no accounts to make.

With Analytics consent, Google Analytics records page views, traffic sources and browser information. With Marketing consent, HighLevel records visits, traffic sources, device information and time on the site, and can link submitted enquiry details to those visits. You can agree to either purpose, both or neither. The optional tracking stays off until you agree. You can withdraw on our cookies page.

We use it to answer your enquiry, to quote for the work and to arrange it. The lawful basis is legitimate interests: you asked a builder to get back to you, and replying is what you were expecting. Counting page views and linking enquiries to visits are separate purposes for which we ask for your consent. Where an enquiry turns into work, we hold what we need to perform that contract, and some records are kept because tax and accounting law requires it.

Ben and Adam handle enquiries. Vercel hosts this website. If you contact us by email, our email provider handles that message.

An enquiry sent through the form on this website is passed to HighLevel, which is where we keep our enquiries and work out who has been called back. This happens whether or not you agree to the optional cookies, because it is how the enquiry reaches us at all rather than something the website switches on. It is separate from the Marketing choice described below, which is about tracking your visits.

The number on this website is a HighLevel number. When you ring it, HighLevel connects the call to our own mobiles and keeps a record of the number you called from, the time and how long we spoke. Calls are not recorded and are not transcribed. This happens whether or not you agree to the optional cookies, because it is how the phone line works rather than something the website switches on.

If you agree to Analytics, Google receives information about your visits through Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics. If you agree to Marketing, HighLevel receives visit information and can receive submitted form details in our account. Marketing consent here does not subscribe you to marketing messages. Our cookies page links to each provider's privacy information and explains how to stop future tracking. Withdrawal does not delete information those providers have already received.

We keep what you send for as long as there is a reason to keep it. If an enquiry does not turn into work, it is deleted once it is clear nothing is coming of it. Where it does become a job, the paperwork is kept for as long as tax and accounting rules oblige us to.

You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask us to restrict what we do with it, or object to us holding it. Email us and we will deal with it within a month.

If you are not happy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or by ringing 0303 123 1113. We would rather you told us first so we can put it right.
