Privacy
This notice covers the personal information this website collects, which is only what you type into the enquiry form.
Who is responsible
F & H Construction (Oxon) Limited, company number 17010346, registered in England and Wales, is the data controller. The registered office is Unit 1 Callows Farm, Stonesfield, Witney, OX29 8EG. You can reach us at fandhconstruction25@outlook.com.
What the form collects
The enquiry form asks for your name, phone number, postcode, the kind of work you need and any details you add. Email is optional. Nothing else is collected by the form, and there are no accounts to make.
Separately from the form, this site counts which pages are read, and it does that only if you have agreed to it. Nothing is set before you answer and you can change the answer at any time. What it sets and how to withdraw it is on our cookies page.
Why we hold it, and on what basis
We use it to answer your enquiry, to quote for the work and to arrange it. The lawful basis is legitimate interests: you asked a builder to get back to you, and replying is what you were expecting. Counting page views is a separate thing on a separate basis, which is your consent, and it is the only basis available for it. Where an enquiry turns into work, we hold what we need to perform that contract, and some records are kept because tax and accounting law requires it.
Who sees it
Ben and Adam. Enquiries reach us by email through our email provider, and the website is hosted by Vercel, who process it only to deliver the message. We do not sell what you send us, share it for marketing, or send it outside the United Kingdom or European Economic Area.
If you have agreed to analytics, the provider named on our cookies page also receives a record of the pages you looked at, and processes it outside the United Kingdom under their own safeguards. That is counted separately, is never joined to an enquiry, and stops the moment you withdraw.
How long we keep it
We keep what you send for as long as there is a reason to keep it. If an enquiry does not turn into work, it is deleted once it is clear nothing is coming of it. Where it does become a job, the paperwork is kept for as long as tax and accounting rules oblige us to.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask us to restrict what we do with it, or object to us holding it. Email us and we will deal with it within a month.
Complaints
If you are not happy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or by ringing 0303 123 1113. We would rather you told us first so we can put it right.
