Two rooms opened into one bathroom

A bathroom and the WC next door in Stonesfield, opened into a single room and fitted out.

A bathroom with a curved shower bath and a glass screen, white tiled walls with a mosaic border running through them, and a basin on a timber vanity unit under the window.

What we did

  • A bathroom and the WC next door, opened into one room.
  • The non-structural wall between them came out, and the old doorway into the second room was blocked up.
  • Panelling stripped off the walls and the old floor lifted before anything went back.
  • Tiled through with a mosaic border, and a new radiator run in.
  • A new interior door hung, with architrave and skirting, and a new floor laid.
  • The WC end part way through the job, with the plaster off the right hand wall, the wall above it opened up, the soil pipe exposed in the corner and the old fittings sheeted up on the floor.
  • The basin at the window end of the same bathroom, with the mosaic border running along the wall behind the tap and the edge of the bath alongside it.
  • The shower end of the same bathroom, with an electric shower over the bath, a hinged glass screen, and the mosaic border carried round the tiling.
  • The far end of the same room, painted blue, with the WC and a chrome towel rail, and the tiled floor running through from the bathroom.
